Becoming an engineer requires solid scientific, technical and operational knowledge, as well as human qualities. The ESITC Paris curriculum was created with and for the profession. It combines rigorous teaching that is perfectly suited to a constantly evolving professional world

| Preparatory cycle

Entering higher education marks a real change from high school. ESITC Paris' 2-year preparatory cycle welcomes sixty students with a general baccalaureate in a predominantly scientific field and a technological baccalaureate in STI 2D. Its aim is to provide young students with basic technical knowledge in addition to the fundamentals of science, general studies and literature. The workload is very demanding, and to ensure that the transition to secondary education goes as smoothly as possible, the classes are divided into 1/2 groups in the scientific subjects, and support courses are also offered as soon as any difficulties are detected. Assessment is based on continuous assessment throughout the year

As well as reinforcing their scientific knowledge and deepening their understanding of the humanities, young engineering students are introduced to technical subjects that are new to them in the 1st year, in a break with the very general high school system. The 2nd year is a demanding and intensive one, in which the scientific base is strengthened and the technical subjects dedicated to construction are continued, to prepare students for the engineering cycle

The work experience placement at the end of the 1st year enables students to discover the professional sector of Construction, more specifically that of building sites, and thus to put into practice the initial technical knowledge acquired during the year

| Engineering cycle

The engineering cycle lasts 3 years and is based on technical, management and communication subjects. This cycle is punctuated by three internships, which are important in terms of their duration and purpose. It is also during this cycle that our students go abroad (for an internship or to a foreign university - a unique experience that enhances the maturity of the student-engineer) and that they choose their Major (at the end of 4th year) :
Sustainable Building, Roads, Engineering Works & Regional Planning, Sustainable Materials & Structures or Sustainable Engineering & Architecture

The final year is structured around two key stages: the acquisition of the final theoretical skills with the Final Year Project (FUP) and the work placement (FTP), which lasts a minimum of 4 months, enabling over 90% of our students to be hired within 2 months of leaving the school
