The research laboratory is specialised in eco-building materials and conducts research to develop knowledge and building materials that meet today's technical and environmental requirements. The research carried out in the laboratory is focused on eco-building materials. It covers several themes developed with partner laboratories and companies

The research carried out by the laboratory aims to develop new bio-sourced cementitious materials or those incorporating recycled materials. These results will make it possible to provide new solutions to professionals in the construction and public works sector, but also to set up innovative scientific projects in collaboration with these companies, as well as with other research establishments. The objective of responsible construction is to develop alternative materials, particularly from recycling, that meet specific technical specifications

Research themes

♦ Development of eco-materials for cement

  • Reduction of the impact on mineral resources
  • Recycling of waste from construction and industry

♦ Study of pollution with water as a vector of pollutants

  • Release of pollutants from construction materials and their impact on the environment
  • Green infrastructure: stormwater management and mitigation on urban climate (cool islands)
  • Migration of pollutants from materials in the drinking water network
